Hello HARPG Community!

I'm looking for some people interested in participating in reviving a text based equine game that's on it's deathbed. A large part of my income within the game in it's prime was art, so I'm hoping to pique some interest here.

The game in question is called Virtual Horse Ranch. Maybe you've heard of it, or even dabbled in it in the past but have since lost interest. It really needs a fresh community and economy. Why the HARPG community?

Besides the affinity for horses, the game is essentially a text based role playing simulation. Players make a ranch name and player name (things that cannot be changed), you start out with 100k playcash, and the marketplace is yours to peruse. Your ranch page can be edited with art and html/css. Each horse can have a personal picture. You can play it much like you would RP your HARPG ranches, except the horses will have set stats that can be improved through training and breeding lines. The game does not include realistic color breeding, but you can "dye" your horses colors ranging from normal, to purchasing a personal customized color.

You can specialize in a breed (some fantasy breeds available, or make up your own!), choose to work with pure or grade lines, train for one discipline or many, or just dabble around with a mix of everything.

If you decide to check out the game (please do, even if you don't think you'll play it for long), I highly suggest signing up with OrbisWorlds, connecting your VHR account, and diving into the forums. You will get a feel for how to play the game through the forum's player guides, on top of learning the community. Additionally, a sponsor account will allow you to have infinite turns, skill perks that will allow you to train and breed better horses, the ability to create events, and have more horses on your ranch. (if upgrading, use OrbisWorlds and the token system)

And, if you have any questions you can private message me on the forums (in-game messaging system sucks) @ MaidenFaire

Early 2019

So we've made it to 2019!

Most of my current life is working and playing video games. My top picks are Red Dead Redemption 2 (working on 100% completion and all achievements), and Apex Legends.

My hands have managed to pull off some pencil drawings!

I bought a new laptop, new drawing tablet (a little Wacom Intuos), and I'm trying out Clip Studio Pro.

When my motivation is high, I'll be practicing some digital art and possibly some edits. Along with that, I'll be looking for inspiration for more pencil drawings and sketches. Hope to share with you all, soon!

Oooh, and my cosplay intentions are in the works for this year's cons, but I'm waiting on spring to continue past the point of cutting my foam. I have a full armor set, and a more casual piece planned.

MoMoCon 2017

MoMoCon 2017 (aka "Peach" Con, Atlanta Georgia)

A lot of stuff has happened since last year, but I'm happy to say I attended my first convention AND cosplayed something I made (OG Reaper from Overwatch)! I wish I had more artsy style pictures taken, but I was distracted with a place I've never been, my first convention experience, and my first official date with my new boyfriend. Overall it was a very awesome and much needed break from reality.

I'm still wishing I was in Atlanta, the experience was wonderful. I had multiple people ask to take pictures with me, including little kids! Soon, I'm hoping to complete more cosplay outfits and attend more cons.

I do still create art, but most of my artsy endeavors will probably surround cosplaying and painting this year.

Updated My dA

From the time I started dA (which was before this account, even), I was into drawing, just getting into Photoshop and digital art, and playing online games on a DIAL UP CONNECTION. Damn, I feel old.

I removed a lot of old works, pics, drawings, digital art, random stuff that's irrelevant to my current life, and moved anything I decided to keep into an "Old" folder.

Now, my focus for this account will be writing (like it was intentionally), crochet pieces, cosplay endeavors and practice studies as I delve back into drawing with an actual pencil. If anyone has any writing prompt websites or lists they enjoy, please refer me to them!

2016

So I don't ramble, I'll make this journal in "point" form:

- I'm 25 and it doesn't feel like I'm an adult. Halp.

- I finished a live-in internship in December where I helped feed and maintain (vet/farrier/training) 30 weanlings (which went down as people purchased them during my stay), 20 yearlings (the number dropped down to 13 during my stay, 6 of which I trained to be started under saddle), about 30 broodmares,a stallion, and a few miscellaneous donkeys, ponies, and riding horses. It was an experience...

- I basically finished my schooling for now, although I may take on internships and apprenticeships with people in the equine industry.

- I still plan to go to training and informational clinics for different disciplines, I will be forever learning to improve my riding, training, and business/management skills

- AARRTT??? I find myself doodling, but not really finishing anything. As one of my resolutions, I will be doing short drawing studies with pen/pencil. I have a few things I haven't uploaded here, but may.

- I hope everyone has a great 2016!
